Other People is a record label and book publisher established in New York City in August 2013 by Nicolás Jaar. It has released over 90 music albums and half a dozen books.
Recent projects include full-length records by Aylu and Fronte Violeta, the first album by Ale Hop under the name Alejandra Cardenas, two debut EPs by French duo Surface Access, debut album of Enxyn/Onyx, a zine by Eli Wewentxu, the debut collaborative album Intiha by Ali Sethi and Jaar, Aho Ssan’s Rhizomes book/album, Saint Abdullah and Eomac collaborative album, Dienne and Sary Moussa's debut records, Charbel Haber's first book, Patrick Higgins' latest record, Valentina Villarroel’s first solo cassette, Vibrante, records by collectives Period Music and Earth Sounds Now.
Other notable releases include:
- Terepa (2015), a 'telepathic' collaboration led by Kohei Matsunaga (aka NHK’Koyxen) featuring Rashad Becker, Charlotte Collin, Lucrecia Dalt, Laurel Halo, Julia Holter, Grégoire Simon, and Kohei himself.
- Caves (2021), a compilation of silences featuring Laraaji, Aho Ssan, Lucrecia Dalt and others.
- Weavings (2022), a collaborative live piece with Juliana Huxtable, Ellen Fullman, Wukir Suryadi, and Rully Shabara of Senyawa, and Angel Bat Dawid.

The label has also showcased visual work by Maziyar Pahlevan, Africanus Okokon, Zofia Kulik, Jena Myung, Charbel Haber, Abeera Kamran, and Somnath Bhatt.
Its current contract allows artists to retain all rights and decide their revenue percentage post-recoupment. Profits are used to fund musicians through grants such as the Overtones grant for LA musicians (2022), Ladridos grant, and series of Workshops in Santiago de Chile (2023), the Alrowwad electronic music grant and workshop in Bethlehem (2023), tidal.wav (2023), and (un)building listenings workshop at Dar Jacir (2021-2022). The label has funded two studios: H3 music studio in Hebron and the Dar Jacir studio in Bethlehem. Moreover, it has donated to over three dozen exceptional organizations and individuals through the 'Thank you for existing Grant' (2020).
While the label operates not-for-profit, it is not a registered non-profit.
